The Morning formula contains herbs that will facilitate and
enhance the body's elimination of accumulated and ingested
toxins. The morning hours allow these herbs and nutrients to be
most effective for cleansing the liver and alkalizing your entire
system. The liver is the body's foremost organ for detoxification,
following are the kidneys, then the lungs and finally the skin.

Morning Recommendations for best results:
To enhance this cleanse, and as a regular or on-going morning practice to tone and detoxify the liver,
squeeze 1/4 of a lemon or lime into an 8 ounce glass of distilled or purified water and drink it
first thing in the morning. You may take the Morning Formula at this time, if that is convenient for you.
Eat a breakfast containing fresh fruits grains, yogurt or eggs. Do not eat meat or cow's milk at
breakfast. Use rice or almond milks in cereals that contain only molasses, honey or maple syrup as
a sweetener. Do not consume white sugar or evaporated cane juice products. These create more
acids for your body to balance. And do not overeat.
Oregon Grape Root
Oregon grape root contains IBerberine and
other alkaloids that have been shown to kill a
wide range of microbes and have been
effective in speeding recovery from giardia,
candida, viral diarrhea, and cholera. The herb
is also known to be capable in treating
inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema
and psoriasis largely due to it's purging and
cleansing effects on the liver. Oregon grape
root also has anticancer properties that are
receiving more attention by researchers. Other
actions include alterative, diuretic, laxative and
tonic. Traditionally herbalists have relied on
this herb for its alkalizing and liver cleansing
capabilities. As with all liver purging herbals it
should only be used for periods not extending
30 days.
Uva Ursi
Uva ursi is used to treat urinary tract infections,
cystitis (bladder in ammation), and kidney
stones. Arbutin, the chief active compound in
uva ursi, is absorbed in the stomach and
converted into a substance with antimicrobial,
astringent, and disinfectant properties. During
urination, as it passes out of the body, it acts
on the mucus membranes of the urinary tract
to soothe irritation, reduce inflammation, and
fight infection. Uva Ursi leaf was listed on the
U.S. National Formulary as a urinary antiseptic
from 1820 to 1950. Added to this formula to
work in conjunction with Black Radish to heal
and purge the kidneys and bladder of toxic
accumulations.
Lime Extract
Extract of lime has a gentle cleansing effect on
the ducts and pathways of the liver and
kidneys making it an important ingredient in
this formulation. Lime juice has been proven
very helpful in getting rid of kidney stones in
their early stages. Squeezing some lime into
water each day and drinking it first thing in the
morning increases the level of citrate in your
urine, which helps to prevent the formation of
calcium oxalate crystals that may result in kidney stones.
Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus has mucolytic, diuretic and
antibacterial properties. It is used for
hypertension, throat and lung infections,
inhaled for sinus and bronchial infections,
colds, coughs, and other respiratory ailments.
The main ingredient in eucalyptus oil is
eucalyptol. This has very strong germicidal and
disinfectant properties. We have added a small
amount of this herb for its ability to eliminate
excess mucous and toxins from the lung tissue.
Burdock Root
The bitter properties of burdock stimulate bile
secretions. Burdock's anti-microbial,
bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties have
been traced to as many as 14 different
polyacetylene compounds in the root. In
traditional herbal texts, burdock root is
described as a “liver and blood cleanser" and
believed to clear the body of toxins. It has
been used both internally and externally for
eczema and psoriasis, as well as to treat painful
joints and as a diuretic. Added to this
formulation to increase the flow of bile,
inducing a cleansing effect on the gallbladder,
liver and blood.
Mullein
One of the primary uses of mullein has been to
remedy respiratory problems, such as chronic
bronchitis, asthma, croup, and other breathing
difficulties. It is an expectorant that
stimulates the clearing out of congestion,
expelling excess respiratory phlegm and
mucus. It also soothes and tones the mucous
membranes of the respiratory system and
reduces inflammation. When mullein is
combined with eucalyptus they gently purge
the lungs of toxins while soothing the pleura
and tissues of the lungs
Dandelion Root
The bitter compounds of dandelion increase
bile production and flow in the gallbladder
and from the liver. For this reason dandelion is
recommended by many herbalists for people
with sluggish liver function due to alcohol
abuse or poor diet. The increase in bile flow
may help improve fat (including cholesterol)
metabolism in the body. Because of its iron
content, it is widely used as a remedy for liver
ailments. Dandelion also has a purging effect
that can help rid the liver of toxins. Because of
its positive effects on the liver and digestion,
dandelion root may help boost the
effectiveness of other vitamins, minerals and
nutrients.
Buchu Leaves
Buchu aids in the elimination of calculus
debris, mucus, and uric acid from the kidneys.
It soothes and strengthens the urinary system.
Buchu was introduced in Great Britain around
1800 and was officially listed as a medicine in
the British Pharmacopoeia by 1821. British
physicians used it to treat inflammations of the
urinary system including cystitis, urethra
inflammation, and nephritis.
Black Radish
The Black Radish is said to have a pronounced
effect on the liver, activating and regenerating
liver cells. It acts as a "cholagogue," or
substance that stimulates the production of
bile from the liver to the intestines. It serves as
a liver tonic and helps to purify it. This action
also helps to cleanse and purify the blood and
reduce gravel in the gallbladder. Black Radish
also encourages the production and flow of
urine, as such, promoting the elimination of
toxins, stones and gravel with the increase in
urine flow.
